  Rocky Bleier, a standout athlete in football and basketball from Appleton, Wis., earned a degree in business management in 1968 from the University of Notre Dame, where he excelled as a running back under legendary coach Ara Parseghian.
  After playing for one season in the NFL, Bleier’s football career was interrupted when he was drafted into the army and sent to Vietnam. His platoon was ambushed, and he sustained a wound to his left thigh and grenade shrapnel in his right leg. His courageous service earned him the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star.
  Despite the challenging injuries that made walking difficult, Bleier returned to the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1970. Through perseverance and rigorous training, he overcame immense odds, becoming a starting player by 1974 and eventually retiring as a four-time Super Bowl champion.
  Bleier chronicled his journey in Fighting Back: The Rocky Bleier Story, which highlights his determination to recover and succeed. In 1980, he founded Rocky Bleier, Inc., inspiring audiences worldwide as a motivational speaker. Known for his optimism, humor, and grit, Bleier shares lessons from his remarkable life and career.
  Now residing in Pittsburgh, Pa., Bleier remains a symbol of resilience and determination.

  Kent Jacquay has been in the financial industry since 1995, the same year the very first Fixed Indexed Annuity (FIA) was sold. He sold FIA’s off and on from 1997 through 2018. During that time, he was also a FIA wholesaler for 6 different FMO’s, and ran his own for almost 10 years. In 2018, his simple Excel spreadsheet got noticed by representatives from the Index Provider industry and he was strongly encouraged to bring his data to the masses. In 2019, he opened the Index Resource Center and has grown the company tremendously each year from its inception. Today the Index Resource Center services Agents, FMO’s, Carriers, and Index Providers all across the nation. He also is the inventor of the “Retro Pricing” back-testing calculation method that has helped both agents and clients get a clearer picture of how FIAs have performed historically.
